Types
Clark manufactures a range of forklift trucks like cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks. The various types differ in terms of the way they run. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use in warehouses and other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.

Based on the kind of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity could differ. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC models are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC kinds have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.
